Having recently undergone major refurbishment Stocks Hotel is a beautiful country house offering luxurious accommodation with a well-established reputation for providing friendly hospitality. The traditional granite buildings lie in a sunny, south-facing valley above an old smugglers cove and one of the island's most accessible beaches. Originally built as a farmhouse in 1741, Stocks became an hotel in 1895 and has many links with Sark history and island heritage. The hotel is surrounded by acres of mature woodland, meadows and gardens. A variety of exotic plants thrive in the mild climate and secluded within the landscaped grounds is a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. The hotel has a choice of 23 individually unique bedrooms and suites.

When you arrive in Sark you will have to catch the harbour hill tractor bus which will take you to the plateau. This will cost £1 per adult and 50p per child (payable locally). Stocks is approximately 1 kilometre from the plateau and you can choose to either walk, hire a bicycle or have a horse and carriage 'taxi' which will cost £25, this needs to be pre-booked and we will be pleased to arrange this for you (payable locally). The hotel will transport your luggage free of charge and you are asked to clearly label your luggage for 'Stocks.'
