Channel Island Beaches Contest Maldives
The Channel Islands have been named on a list of “the top 50 places to visit before you die”. A list compiled by American AOL, showed the Channel Islands as one of only 3 places in the British Isles to ensure you visit. Jersey and Guernsey have been named as a special place to visit instead of jetting off to infamous hot spots such as the Maldives.
The guide explained the Channel Islands as follows:
‘Guernsey and Jersey have heavy French influences, Sark was the world’s first Dark Sky island where stargazers can witness the magical night skies, and Herm is a true paradise island – the perfect place to get away from it all.’
