This famous food festival, now in its 15th year, celebrates the wealth of good food that is available in the Channel Islands. A visit to Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney or Sark during the six weeks of Tennerfest guarantees superb value when you can enjoy delicious meals for a bargain price along with some fantastic innovative menus.
The original idea of the Tennerfest was to encourage autumn business to the islands with restaurants offering a special all inclusive menu for just £10 a head. As time has gone by and costs have risen the tenner of 15 years ago has an actual value in the islands today of almost £15.00. Today Tennerfest menus start at £10 but there’s also fixed price menus at £12.50, £15 & £17.50 and £20 – all of which still represent fantastic value for money.
Throughout the 15 years history of the Tennerfest, the ethos has stayed the same: a celebration of great value food at terrific value for money prices which encourages all participating restaurants to offer more to their diners during the promotion. It’s a time to enjoy the wonderful quality, diversity and choice of food available in the islands.
